Quartz alternative firmware upload for Macs

If uploading the Quartz firmware failed on your Mac. Follow these steps:

– download a version below
– unzip the file to your Desktop (must be directly on your Desktop)
– make sure it is named “Upload”
– plug the Quartz in (important to do this before running the program)
– run “Upload”
– you may have to allow “unknown” developers.
– select the option that has “usbmodem” in the name
– go through until you see “Success” pop up.
– if you receive error messages. Please try all of your USB ports, and you may have to restart your machine.
